Born in Beirut, 1954. Moved to Aberdeen from 1975, working its ports and docks until 1982.

Built seafood processing factories from 1982 to 1995, then formed Al Shene Marine Holding in 1995.

Son Rashid now carries daily operations, logistics and supply; siblings Abdullah, Maya, Karim and Tariq are named as part of the family line.
